Oregon to become first state to tax bicycles

Ironically, a state that prides itself on being bicycle-friendly has passed a bill to impose a tax on any new bikes purchased that have wheels 26 inches or more in diameter and are valued at over $200. This proposed levy has bicycle enthusiasts and advocates up in arms. Read more here
