Hi Daniel,

Three-quarters of a million people. Our 3-year-old movement is nearly that big. That's 2.25 million bicycles (the average PeopleForBikes member owns three), 4.5 million wheels (assuming trikes make up for unicycles), and—most importantly—hundreds of thousands of riders turning their communities into better places to ride.

In July, we challenged you to help us grow PFB with a competition to see which state could recruit the most new supporters. Your response was stellar! Nearly 19,000 riders signed on. That's 38,000 wheels, 57,000 bikes ... you get the picture.

California, the largest state for PFB, accumulated the most total supporters in July. Iowa topped the charts when it came to percentage growth in supporters, with Nevada and Louisiana close behind. To see how your state stacks up in the overall rankings, you can check out the map on our homepage.

Now's a great time to show your friends you believe in a better future for biking. Click below to reach out to them on Facebook, on Twitter, or by email. Thanks for your support!

Let's unite 1 million people for a better ride.
